Sharing God's Love through my Journey
There was a phase in 2019 when every time I took my daughter’s picture, there had to be at least one pose where she acted like Superman, like she was flying.
I loved it.
She has a fierce, warrior heart full of love and “fight for what’s right”-ness. She wants everything to be fair and just and for everyone to be loved for who they are.
She’s not perfect. She gets annoyed with others and I remind her that we do not know everyone’s story. We show compassion and kindness because we don’t know what others are going through.
Her 8 year old view of what is fair and just can be skewed… but that’s ok. I’d rather her fight for something she believes in and to make the world a better place. I’ll help her with the rest of it.
When I look back at those pictures though, I LOVE her confidence. You want to take my picture? Ok, let me be superman. Let me show who I am on the inside. And she poses.
It’s perfect.
No hesitation. No wondering which way to pose, or how to stand. Let me be superman.
Can we bottle up some of that confidence and take it with us?
More realistically, can we find it within us?
I decided to be practical with this post today and do a little research on how to boost confidence. Actual steps we can take and here’s what I found…
Happy Monday, friends. Let’s have a Superman-like Confident day!
